What was the first movie Fred Astaire made in which he did not dance or sing? I think it might have been "On the Beach". What was his final dancing/singing appearance?

Don't know, Equus, but I seem to recall one of the old time hoofers saying when they got to old to dance, the would definately not fall back on 'soft shoe'. Might have been Astaire.

How spookoid is that, I was just looking at Top Hat on play.com!!

I always thought Fred appeared in Xanadu, but recently found out it was Gene Kelly.
