Are the two correlated? Is epistemology along these lines?

Hey zyx - welcome to A2K:

Meta-physics in very simple terms usually attempts to define the terms and concepts that are used when one talks about physics. Concepts like being, life, death and the like.

Epistemology usually attempts to define how we gain knowledge. What thoughts mean - how we gain knowledge from experience and the like.
