Hello,
Unfortunately, I don't much information to go on besides the painting itself. It is a watercolor on paper, signed "Sigmund '44" approximately 18 inches by 21 inches.
An older neighbor asked me if I could sell this for him and he told me that the artist is a listed artist and well known.
I cannot find anything, especially the way it is signed with just the single name "Sigmund"... First name? Last name? Strange to me for a professional artist to sign with a single name and no other initial....but then again, tell that to Prince and Madonna. [Smile]

Does anyone have any leads for me before I return this painting to my friend? Thank you in advance!
