Now...if you did actually eventually get through the whole song, it's probably cached in your temp internet files. You may be able to go in there, find the file and save it to your hard drive, then play it again, hopefully without the hiccups.

... is it bouts of intuition
is it insecurity
you know I can read your mind and
You have been deceiving me...

It's funny how I find myself
In love with you
If I could buy my reasoning
I'd pay to lose
One half won't do

I've asked myself
How much do you
Commit yourself?

It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends (It never ends...)

Funny how I blind myself
I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon
Afraid to lose

Oh, I'd tell myself
What good do you do
Convince myself

Oh, It's my life
Don't you forget
Oh, It's my life
It never ends (It never ends...)

....... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

And today, walking down Sydney Road, in the supermarket, at the library, everywhere >>>>> more live REM:

This one goes out to the one I love.
This one goes out to the one I left behind ...
A simple prop, to occupy my mind.
This one goes out to the one I love ....

Have I brain washed myself by playing this CD ( Last Date) over & over? I may have fallen in love with Michael Stipe! Laughing

Well I'd like to tell you all about
my dream, it's a place
where strip malls abound and diversion's mere
moments away

Where culture's defined by the
ones least refined
and you'll be left behind
if you don't fit in
it's all distorted
in Americana my way

Not getting any better, sorry.....

From a lovely, melancholy Colin Hay (formerly of Men at Work) live album I just bought ...
One of my old favourites- Melbourne Song. Here's a bit of it:

.. I think I'll buy a panel van
head up the coast, get a tan ..
Get stuck behind a caravan.
The land was stripped bare
just nothing there

So we headed back to Melbourne town.

I said I dunno why
I dunno why
I wanna stay here.

It's you that I love ...

<sigh> Lovely, gentle music. It reminds me of some one. <sigh>

I got sunshine
On a cldouy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May

I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?

My girl
Talking 'bout my girl.

Miles from nowhere
I guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there

Look up at the mountain
I have to climb
Oh yeah, to reach there.

Lord my body has been a good friend
But I won't need it when I reach the end

Miles from nowhere
Guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there

I creep through the valleys
And I grope through the woods
'cause I know when I find it my honey
It's gonna make me feel good

I love everything
So don't it make you feel sad
'cause I'll drink to you, my baby
I'll think to that, I'll think to that.

Miles from nowhere
Not a soul in sight
Oh yeah, but it's alright

I have my freedom
I can make my own rules
Oh yeah, the ones that I choose

Lord my body has been a good friend
But I won't need it when I reach the end

Miles from nowhere
Guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there.

Dyslexia

Because I was playing music here, myself, I had to go outside & sing those very familiar words to figure out who it was.
Idea Got it! Very Happy

A very quiet, understated song:

Brother, are you heeding him?
The package I received is gone
I hear a phantom detective
Can you read my soul backwards?
I will glide with you
If you are a backwards ghost
I will hire you

Brother are you really whole?
Holy as a blessed worm
Paradise ambassador, bring me to your room
I will throw you rocks today
Watch them pass right through you
Say this is not a game, a test
We both have done some grieving

Brother with your vast reward
A treasury, who can afford?
Surgeries and innocents abounds
And I have read in paper books
My eyes are glands on twisted hooks
Never have I felt or looked
So sorry for you now

Brother, are you trained to spy?
One eye open, one eye dry?
When I die, will you be my neighbor?
Tell me things I'd like to know
Dressing up from head to toe
Let them know to and fro
From here and tomorrow

Brother, are you heeding him?
The message I've received is gone
I hear a phantom detective
Can you read my soul backwards?
I will glide with you
If you are a backwards ghost
I will hire you...
