Will someone advise me on mixing (oil) paints to get pinkish-white flesh tones, please. What do I add for lightly tanned skin? I have lost my magic formula.

@Daveboy,
One part Dulux Ivory, two parts Crown brilliant white and half part Sanderson's Overtly Olive.

It certainly worked a treat in the hall.

@Daveboy,
Add small amounts of brown to get a slightly tanned color. Or you can even add some orange to it.

@Lordyaswas,
I'm glad I didn't see this earlier, as I would have been mean.

@ossobuco,
Nearly any caucasion, or Asian skin color can be made with the following paints: Ivory Black, White (any white), Yellow Ocher, and Venetian Red.
To create a true flesh color, mix these colors until you can smear a bit of paint on your forearm, and can't distinguish where your arm leaves off, and the paint begins.

@WFMartin,
Thanks for a good answer, this is actually something I have struggled with in painting (in my very limited experience). Welcome to A2K!
