What's a good, free and safe video editing program? With some I've tried to download I get dire warnings about damage to my computer.

@Pitter,
There are a few excellent video editing software programs available on the web. This guide will help you make a wise and educated decision on how to choose. Windows XP has Windows MovieMaker automatically stored on their hard drive. There are a few different editing softwares available such as Sony Vegas Movie Studio, Adobe Premier, and Movie Magix.

Windows opertating system has the default video designer Windows Movie Maker.
I am using Adobe Premier for video editing and making process and you may try for the same product.
