I thought of putting Zoe Saldana on it but I figured since she played Uhuru in the new Star Trek movies that Paramount Studio would condescendingly think the viewers of a new TV series would be too confused with a Saldana captain. Still she could pull it off in my books.
Gérard Depardieu is only 64 and he hasn't aged well. A much younger and fitter Depardieu would have made a great Starfleet Captain. Still... he could become a recurring role as a Starfleet Admiral.
