IO9 reports that Brian Fuller (Hannibal) is trying to produce a new Star Trek TV series.

But sadly, it's not going to be broadcast on CBS (well initially a few episodes will be broadcast over the CBS network). Most of the series will be behind the paywall of CBS's proprietary digital service, CBS All Access, after airing only the pilot on TV.
