@tsarstepan,
"The World's End" is my most anticipated film of this year. I enjoyed Shawn of the Dead and loved Hot Fuzz, so I'm hoping this one follows suit. We'll see.

My fav Apocalypse film so far... Terminator

@Setanta,
A boy and his Dog was great. It's one of the SciFi classics in my library of films.

I like some oldies, including Dr Strangelove, but also When Worlds Collide and On the Beach.

I'm hoping they will make a movie of The Passage.

@edgarblythe,
The book struck me as nothing less than brilliant. Didn't see the movie.

End of Days...

With Arnold, I am honestly surprised that many avid movie buffs I know, have not seen this movie...

Wouldn't make a very good movie.

@izzythepush,
why not? Imagine a "start over" process and chronicling the lives of important beings.

@farmerman,
Most good drama involves some element of conflict. My daughter is a big Lotr fan. We watched the last part yesterday, she said that she didn't like it after the ring was destroyed, it was far too cheesy.

@izzythepush,
You can have litsa conflict without dystopia. Look at "Old YEller"

Course theres always the really bad examples of the pre armegeddon dystopias like "Clan of the Fuckin Cave Bear"
