WHICH BOOKS WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ON FILM?

In the right hands I'd like to see 'Cities of the Interior' by Anais Nin, and 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind on the big screen. A few years ago, 'The Virgin Suicides' would have been on my list, but they did it, and it was pretty good, and faithful to the book. 'Lost and Delirious', supposedly based on Susan Swan's novel 'The Wives of Bath' was terrible....it bore only a passing resemblence to the book, and it was a nightmare to sit through, with the horrible acting and all.

The Bible and anything 'Magic Eye'.......................But seriously a Gary Larson movie would be a killer!

River God by Wilbur Smith. I'd like to see more movies about Egyptian History. I know this book is fiction but it can portray Egyptian lifestyle and culture. The Mummy doesn't count.

Angelica Houston would be a great Granny Weatherwax.

Dom Deloiuse could play Sargent Colon. Alan Hale would have been better.
