I can't get rid of filecure, even with Avast!

I was cursed with getting FileCure from a site where I can read my work emails. I can't get rid of it. I've deleted it, removed it from my system (so they say), and blocked it in Avast!, but it's still there and it's still screwing up my 5 month old computer. Can someone please help me?
