I know I'm not welcome here, but here I am.

Just wanted to offer a word of comfort. It's very early in the season. Do not despair. Anything can happen and often does in baseball.

Can I have some chowdah?

Dice-K (No-Way-Dice-K) is pitching into the top of 7th in a 1-hit shutout. What? ! He must've seen his plane tickets back to Japan in Franconia's hand!

Also, Okijima is back up from the minors, where he seems to have gotten back his groove back.

Yep I was there! Nice 11 innings.

Fortunately the Angel Fans are a kind bunch so we escaped the stadium without any issues.

That and the fact it seemed there were more Red Sox shirts than Angels in the stands. One such Angel's fan shouted are we in Boston?
