bcc problems on mail

I have just upgraded my iMac from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11. This may have produced a problem on being able to get any of my email addresses into the bcc line. Each time I highlight the bcc line and then click on an address, the address goes into the "TO" line instead of BCC. Any suggestions please? lusall@att.net

I have Mac OS 10, version 10.4.11 and use the safari browser. I just went to my yahoo email account to compose an email, saw Show BCC in the space above the compose window, clicked that, and I could then add addresses to the BCC line. So, I don't know what might be happening on your email or your browser...

I guess this post of mine will be to bump the thread so another Mac user can see it. And welcome to a2k...

Try highlighting the address and dragging it to the bcc line?

I am thinking it is the email you are using.
