Ask your family about him.

It doesn't matter who your dad is. His genetics are in you but you decide what to do with them where he ends. YOU ARE YOU.

in fact, because you search you will find more then your dad. You will find an identity that is all your own.

Well, he's not your Dad; he's your birth father.

Too bad for him that he missed out on your upbringing, but that is his loss.

He MAY not have had a choice. OR he may have been too young OR he was afraid of the responsbility OR he did 't know about you. The reasons are endless.

You are at the age where you want some kind of explanation about these events. You certainly deserve to know. But PLEASE do this with the guidance of an adult you trust who can help you find out some things.

I;m not going to tell you to forgive - that won't come until you are about 40.

But you at least will know the events surrounding this mystery.
