I've only seen 2, and only because House is in syndication.

The new Knight Rider isn't half bad.

I don't know what Yahoo is talking about. Here is the *real* top 10 list (according to ME) Smile
1. Battlestar Galactica (the new one. Best series on TV by far)
2. Sarah Connor Chronicles (the only intelligent and stylish sci-fi currently running on TV) (Battlestar Galactica is between seasons).
3. TrueBlood (HBO has lots of good stuff)
4. Heroes (too many plot-lines, but still fun to watch)
5. Boston Legal (William Shatner is twisted)
6. Prison Break (not as good as previous seasons, but not bad)
7. Desperate Housewives (wearing thin, but still decent)
8. House (annoying but mesmerizing)
9. (that's it. everything else sucks)
10. Oh, and then there's that show where contestants run down an impossible obstacle course and fall off things and get bashed with mechanical boxing gloves, that's fun to watch in a car-crash sort of way...

I don't watch TV, not even PBS or HBO. Not sure if I've ever heard of any of those shows, but none sound as though I'd watch them.

So, just out of curiosity Merry Andrew, why are you here if you don't watch television?

It's all because of dyslexia. I'm just waiting for him to insult me.

Television as a business is very hard to judge right now because of all the alternatives to network TV watching. Not only is there cable, but also TV episodes can be accessed through the internet. You can also buy an entire season's worth of many television shows on DVD. I don't think that ratings mean as much as they once did.

I'm addicted to#2.

Have never watched any of the other 9 - have only heard of 2 or 3 of them (and then probably during an ad for the one I do watch).

Watch House, of course, but I also enjoy Cold Case Files; Without a Trace, and Medium.

Never watched the rest of 'em, cowboy.

I am very happy to hear that, Letty. My daughter Katrina has been working as a casting assistant for "Without A Trace" since July 2007. (Before that she worked for a different TV show, "Supernatural".)

Fabulous, wandel. Please tell Katrina to say, "Hi" to this guy for me, and give him a hug and a kiss.

Okay, I only watch prison break on that list. And I don't watch it too intently. It was awesome while they were trying to break out of jail the first time, it started going downhill after that for me.

My Top 10:
1. South Park
2. Always Sunny in Philidelphia
3. Family Guy
4. The Office
5. Mythbusters
6. My Name is Earl
7. Big Bang Theory
8. Reno 911
9. Miami Ink
10. World Series of Poker (does that count?)

Well thats all that my DVR records that I care about

He played Daphne's good-for-nothing brother—brilliantly I might add!—on Frasier, which just happens to be the last network show that I watched.

Thought I might add my Top Ten, just from an Aussie's point of view. It bears some similarity to both Nick and Edgar's lists, but I am a sucker for good comedy.

10. America's Next Top Model
9. Two and a Half Men
8. The Muppet Show
7. Medical Emergency
6. Dexter
5. Dog Borstal
4. Family Guy
3. Kyle XY
2. King of the Hill
1. Reno 911 (and associated movie 911: Miami)!

I would have to say my top shows are as follows. These are the ones that are on. I have others that are not on yet so they don't make the list.

1. Heros
2. Supernatural
3. Dexter (Best show on cable)
4.Fringe
5. CSI
6. Stargate: Atlantis
7. Eli Stone

Now the show that are not on yet but will be added to the list.

1. Battlestar Galactia (best show on TV) God bless Scifi channel
2. 24
3. American Idol (don't ask me why, I just find it entertaining)

I would have to have 2 top 10 lists.
One for the shows currently on TV and on an "all time" top 10.
So here goes, in no particular order...

1. Dirty jobs (discovery channel)
2.mythbusters (discovery channel)
3.Meerkat Manor (on the animal planet channel)
4.Charmed
5.Stargate SG-1
6.Stargate Atlantis
7.Deal or no Deal
8.Lost (even though it has gotten weird lately)
9.Sanctuary (a new show on the Sci-Fi channel)
10.Smash Lab (discovery channel)

And now for my all time top 10, shows that are either still on TV or that used to be on TV, again in no particular order...

1. Adam-12
2. Emergency
3.The Banana Splits (a kids show from the 1960's)
4.Stargate SG-1
5.Stargate Atlantis
6.Star Trek (all of them)
7.Dirty Jobs
8.Mythbusters
9.Meerkat Manor
10. Animal cops (All of them, Animal precinct, Animal Cops Houston, etc.)
