I am an ageless female living in Southern California. I am blessed to be married to the most wonderful man in the world. We recently celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary.
I've recently embraced life as a full-time 'homemaker' after retiring. So, I'm finally starting to attempt things like cooking and gardening and home decorating projects that I've never had time for in the past.
I'm collecting recipies and using my crock-pot and trying to come up with ideas for meals for the two of us. Got any favorites to suggest?
I am trying to coax some roses into growing in our back patio area and various bulbs into coming up in the front. It's my first attempt at this. My only "gardening" in the past has been to fill the flowerbeds with decorative rocks to keep out the weeds! LOL!
As my user-name implies, I'm also a motorcycle chick. After years of riding on the back, I got my own license and my own bike. Now we ride side-by-side on our own bikes for local rides, and share our Goldwing for longer trips. I never thought we'd be a three-motorcycle couple!
We also ride bicycles, and have both our own bikes and a tandem. A few years ago we did a 10-day bicycle tour of the San Juan Islands and Victoria, B.C. Ahhhhhh....wonderful memories. I'd love to do another trip like that.
