Suddenly I cannot always see my avatar. I just see a box with a little red X in it. What happened?
It's been gone for a long time. Your cache finally caught up. Since I don't track each member's avatars for them I have no idea what happened to it.
I suspect you either deleted it, or entered the avatar gallery (whcih also deletes it.

Could you perhaps have changed the link inadvertantly, or have you visited the Avatar Gallery? Opening the Gallery, even if you did not select a new avatar, could have deleted the existing Avatar from your profile, and from the Gallery if it was an Avatar you had uploaded yourself. You might try uploading it again. Hope thais helps. Of course, if you've been singled out for confoundment by the gods of computer confusion, you're doomed.

I must have entered the gallery. Oh well, I'll try uploading it again or picking something else. Thanks for the quick feedback.
