soz, only the first 2 days were beautiful then it got cooler and it rained
at times, but we didn't mind at all. We enjoyed the city so very much, we
would have walked around in snow too.

Only advice I have: wear comfortable shoes, there is cobblestone everywhere!

That's ok, CJane, there's no chance I'll get there anytime soon. <looks around for wealthy older lover> Glad to know you found a good and nice and clean hotel. It all seems quite a doable and interesting visit.

What is that wall with the clumpy/dripped cementy texture? (it's on both pages 3 and 4, I believe)

And those glass doors in the trompe l'oeil building - as I look harder, I see they are probably like our glass that has, er, chicken wire in it, in case of breakage, and not what I first thought, leaded...
Leaded at street level, what was I thinking.

I couldn't figure it out either, littlek - thought it was some mineral deposits,
dripping down.

osso, no, that's not chicken wire, hehe. The doors have a pattern within them
which is quite common for that epoch.

great pictures , cj ! thanks !

did you visit any other cities/places in the area ?

did you post any additional comments about your trip on a2k ?
would certainly be interesting to read some general comments about your experiences .
thanks again , cj !
(hope you have overcome your jetlag by now - you might try some REAL budweiser - perhaps won't help , but tastes great !) .

Jane thought she would be clever and insert herself into a photo, thinking that no one here would recognize her.

Bottom left -- green shirt, blue jeans. Very hot. Nicer looking than I expected.

I have heard that there is some pretty odd goings on in the vicinity of Prague.

Something to do with the Gothic I gather.
