That CdK had nothing better to do the day he set up that function of site . . .

Actually, from memory, the hamsters reporting thing came during one of the site rejigs.


I could be wrong, but the whole "hamsters run the site" thing developed over time, and I think Craven added the hamsters after the myth had been going a while.


The numbers are pretty random I think, Bohne, but the hamsters are a piece of A2k legend.

The A2K server is a jaded and bored insomniac. It counts hamsters to fall asleep. The number tells you how many hamsters it has counted just before receiving your request.
