Would it not be frustrating to have to wait another year before having a chance to study the cores!

We've been pulling up core samples for years, why would this one be different? Actually, not too long ago, some scientists pulled up a sample from soil. They got bits of DNA and thought of cloning some of it into whole plants/animals.
