im stuck on this riddle one of my teachers gave me. i have been working on it all day for the past 2 days and have barely gotten anywhere. All i know is that it has to do with shakespeare i think. and you're trying to find out the program. PLEASE HELP IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR MY GRADE!
This is the riddle:
In the fall the school staff is and was involved in a program of character development. Many in a program this size include bard words, phrases of denyle in avon's vast perfume collection.
ps notice how denyle is spelled wrong. it should be denial. when i google it all i get is a bunch of junk about a famous pornstar. o and also a bard is a poem, story or song.. or a poet, story teller or song writer. Shakespeare was considered THE bard and he was born on Stratford upon Avon (Avon River) but then why would it say avon's vast perfume collection? and also i think by character development it means drama? but no one in our art department had the next clue so i am completely lost. And the staff was never involved in any of our plays this year. we didn't even do a shakespeare play this year. PLEASE HELP I WILL BE SO THANKFULL FOR ANYONE WHO CAN SHED SOME INSIGHT! im exhausted from staying up working on this please help.
"In avons vast perfume collection"
This could be the name of a prefume from the Avon company.
Bard words are possibly poetry or sonnett.
woops forgot to mention already looked at Avon products no such perfume or product exist with the name phrases of denyle or anything close to it
What is a phrase of denial?
A lie? Untruth?
Is there anything in Avons collection with "lie" or something similar? possibly spelled incorrectly - Lye
Did you check Avon's history? There is something in the history that is shakespeare related to a name of a perfume.
maybe
ask ur teahcer's 2 strip?

but really i thought it was a medicine
Shakespeare's Perfume
Shakespeare's Perfume?

I figured if I could find the possible answer so can boardingirl14. I don't believe in doing someone's homework. Just steering in the right direction
This riddle is important to your grade? Your grades must suck!
Falstaff appears in 3 plays written by Shakespeare who was born in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Falstaff is a contraction of false staff which can mean a cracked or brittle cane or a misleader. Perhaps the answer to the riddle is the riddler (misleader) ie the teacher.
