How many versions of the Christian bible are there?

And which version is the original? Which is the "right" one?

Just wondering. I always hear people talk about the King James version. Is that the one? What others are there? How many versions are there?

The true bible read "celebrate" instead of "celibate" - crucial mistake
everyone made.

Are you only counting the English versions? Or do you also want to count the ones that were translated into other languages?

Actually, it's the other way around, ebrown. The first bible wasn't in English and the translation into English must have had some serious flaws, considering the utter nonsense some read into it.

That doesn't make sense. Why would God write the Bible in a foreign language.

I'm going with the two and a half inch by four inch faux red leather New Testament I got in Grade 4. It's the authority.

(St. James version)

That would be "King James" version.

I think you are confusing the Bible with Monopoly.
