Where is your best broadband coming from?

Very interesting review of one aspect of what is still an evolving, yet to be determined, industry. Sitting here at the end of a 2/10 of a mile driveway, with the local family-owned residential phone company unwilling to even bring me cable and too far away from their nearest juncture box, I have to wonder how these industry factors will effect the decision-making in this small, monopolistic company.

I sent the link to the article to my residential server, with some questions, but have no realistic expectation of an answer.
