Museum sneers at evolution

The stories of Adam and Eve's fall from grace and Noah's epic flood feature alongside dinosaurs at a new museum that tells the Bible's version of history on a theme-park scale.
The exhibits have earned the Creation Museum notoriety among sceptics and anticipation from believers who are expected to pack its halls when it opens tomorrow.
"We wanted to show people there's no mystery with dinosaurs - we can explain them," said Ken Ham, founder of the non-profit ministry Answers in Genesis that built the $27m (£14m) facility near Cincinnati, Ohio.
Scientists say there is a gulf of millions of years between man and the giant lizards, but according to the Creation Museum, they lived in harmony just a few thousand years ago. It is part of the literal interpretation of the Bible adopted by Mr Ham and other creationists.
Evolution is derided at the 5,600sq m facility, which is packed with hi-tech exhibits, including its animatronic dinosaurs and a huge wooden ark.

No problem. I'm in a Tidy-Up Mood this morning.
It really is a shame that some people want to infect others with their delusions.
Exciting news!
I just alked to my Girlfriend and we are going to Washington DC during our spring break next March. Since we are passing through the Cincinatti area, I told her about the place and we are going to go!
Were going to go in costume though. Full garb.
WWJD t-shirts, etc.
This is going to be fuqing fabulous!

And which was false and which was true

For both alike were real.
Belief (whether enlightened or unenlightened) is a lonely place.
In Boston a couple years ago, when he had long brown flowing hair and a full beard (before he went to the Yankees), the t-shirts stood for (and these were actual T-shirts with Johnny/Jesus on them):
What Would Johnny Damon Do?
I'd say that quote is a pretty good descriptive of the Creation Museum, "It's make-believe".
