Excellent choice by Shapeless to pick the most alien one of them all. They all are beautifully odd, but, it's true, as both Kicky and Jespah have pointed out, we can relate to all of them.

yes, they are.
And there are perhaps a million more kinds we haven't run into down there.
Hell, there are probably still ten thousand species of frogs, beetles and flutterbys we modernites have not witnessed.

And a million billion creatures who have come, lived, evolved and died out without any homo sapiens seeing any of their tracks.
