15d is 9 letters, you have only nominated (8) and so is mac 11's answer.

I have the same word but not certain if the 9th letter is a "s". What do you think?

Had a reply from overseas: "Neither s nor d would seems suitable since the clue is given as an infinitive 'to...'. A linguistic expert is having a look for me now if there is in fact another word. Will get back to you when I have some more news. Gets interesting, doesn't?
