HELP ON A BRAIN TEASER

Reply Thu 3 May, 2007 11:52 am
A friend's daughter has a brain teaser for school each week. This week's is

9 = DP in the MW

Can you solve it?

previous brain teasers have been:
7 = D in the W (7 = days in the week)
13 = D in a BD (donuts in a bakers dozen)
24 = H in a D (24 hours in a day)

We have the entire legal dept. at work stumped by it, and my daughter at college has all of her friends stumped too,Confused I was hoping somebody here could help solve it! Thanks for anything you come up with.

I don't know it off the top of my head but, I will see if I can find it.
What has your friend's daughter come up with? What have you come up with if anything?

I would think there would be more than 9 in the entire milky way, maybe as many as 11.

Our solar system is a mere speck inside the Milky Way. There are hundreds of millions of stars (like our Sun) in the Milky Way. So the planets answer I believe is not correct.

Wow

MILLIONS of stars you say?

Then I'm going to revise my estimate of dwarf planets to 17.
