Anyone have one?
I am in the market for a new phone. I don't want the top of the line, $450 cell phone. I want a nice looking, slim, new phone. I love the way the Chocolate looks.
Does anyone have one and would you recommend it?
If not, what phone do you recommend?
Thanks!!
I've always been happy with whichever basic Nokia phone comes with my plan.
I am trying to get away from a flip phone because the hinge always seems to get loose.
The other option I am looking into is the SLVR by Motorola.
I find the chocolate phone racist.
They have a white chocolate one too.
They definitely marketed the chocolate phone to the chocolate community. It was blatant. And I wasn't even watching BET on my chocolate TV.
I have a little Sanyo flip phone - no camera, it is the same design used by the Nextel walkie talkie phones without that feature enabled, in a rubberized "hardened" case. I like the clamshell design because I don't make phantom calls from my pocket like a candybar design will do if you forget to keylock it.
The "candybar design" is a slide phone that won't dial unless the slide is up.
I take it you are not for getting one.
Do you think it might make me black? Or at least feel black?
There are lots of candybar shaped phones without slides. The most popular cellphones in the world, Nokias, are often this form.
As far as the black-factor, it's all in the hips.

Maybe I don't get the candybar phone thing.
Ohhhhh, these:
Yeah, I thought about that problem....
and......... whats wrong with the darkies???
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Well, I got one and after playing around with it, I think I like it.
I have 14 days to decide so if something comes up, I can always take it back. But so far, it seems pretty sweet.

?
I just didn't like the advertising. I thought the "chocolate" name and the way they targeted their customers reminded me of Ray Nagin and his "chocolate city". Racist.
HA.
I know what you mean Cj.
And I kinda have to agree.
( but i was just joking about the darkie stuff)
Cuz ( rolls head ) I know e'bery body loves 'm some black folk
mmmm hmmmmm
