150 rolls for EURO 39.65 !
i'm sure that's an offer linkat cannot resist .
offered by a company called "kaiser kraft" = "emporer strength" ,
if it's good enough for an emporer it ought to be good enough for linkat ,
i trust .

That would be about $55 with shipping and so forth - what do you think maybe $100. That is less than $1 a roll! I'm sold - It does need to be fit for queen of course!

Dang, we should be selling this stuff through A2K.

I wipe my a$$ with cheap 1,000 sheets per roll toilet paper from CVS Pharmacy. They had a sale recently, buy one get one free. I have almost 50 rolls, ought to last me at least two years! Smile

After several days my cloth diaper gets pretty full--to the brim. It is then that I empty the diaper, wipe myself, and wash the cloth.

In spite of the horrible rashes, and the estrangment of my loved ones, I really save on toilet paper.

I'd say up to three dollars a week, or something crazy like that.

Well, shoot.

And to think I was so satisfied with myself, spending all that extra cash on diet root beer.

I looked it up finally in "my" supermarket: 5-ply Charmin costs 3.99 Euros for nine rolls à 100 sheets each.

Other 5-ply is cheaper, but only 8 rolls per packet (however, 140 sheets on a roll).

2-ply paper was only stocked with one "no-name" brand. (Most is 4 and 5-ply paper: with three no-names in all groups, at least [3-ply mostly no-name].)

one interesting observation about paper products sold in north-america :

we generally find that canadian paper products are quite inexpensive when compared to U.S. prices - we compare in watertown/NY when going acoss the border - legally Laughing .
but the lowest prices for paper products are for U.S. produced products (tissue , papertowels etc) SOLD IN CANADA !
the shipping boxes are usually stamped "FOR EXPORT ONLY" - so it seems that rather than reducing the U.S. prices , the manafacturers (scott) ship excess goods to canada .

In my b&b's I got posh paper ... but only two-ply, same as in the hotel (which certainly had been cheaper).

I use Charmin ultra, and it is 1 ply. Likely at least as thick as something that would be called 4 ply and without all the associated issues of starting the roll.

That's similar to what they say here about Charmin Comfort (4ply) and Charmin De Luxe (5ply) ... there's really a huge difference between those and the Charmin 2ply I found in my b&b's

"4 ply" is made out of extra-strong plywood , i believe Laughing
