Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has admitted he once snorted his father's ashes.
The famously wild rock star made the admission in an interview with music magazine NME.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared, he didn't give a s***.
"It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."
The incident, after his father Bert died in 2002, was not, however, Richards' worst drugs experience.
In his decades of drug addiction, his nastiest experience involved strychnine, Richards told NME.
"It was when someone put strychnine in my dope. It was in Switzerland. I was totally comatose, but I was totally awake. I could listen to everyone, and they were like, 'He's dead, he's dead!', waving their fingers and pushing me about, and I was thinking, 'I'm not dead!'"
Now 63, Richards said he had outlived many who warned him he would die young.
That's actually a good picture compared to the one I saw next to this article on my news channel. What I really thought was EWWWWW! - to both the action and the photo.

Apparently, it's all been called an April Fool's joke now.
In other news, it's reported that Keith won't be doing any publicity for the 3rd pirate movie. Can't imagine why.

Did someone say that he was playing a dead pirate? Or just looking like one. yuk-yuk.
The funny part is, when he said that wild **** about snorting his fathers' ashes, no one thought he was joking! We believed it without question.

That interview was on April Fools day and Keith later admitted it wasn't true. Not that it would surprise me...

That's what i read tonight and again, it's the funniest part of all. The fact that no one questioned the outrageousness of his claim. As mad as it sounds now, when it was first reported, we all believed it! At least I did. It never occurred to me that it may be just an April Fool's joke.
