gps, welcome to A2K. Sorry, I know nothing of calculating latitude and longitude, but since we live in the same state, just wanted to say, "Hi", and guess Richmond, Virginia since I was formerly a Virginian.

The format is degrees min sec direction for latitude and longitude
(example: 5 58' 03" N, 62 32' 08"W)
You can then go to Google Maps or equivalent and search those coordinates to get an satelite view of the destination.
