The roots of morality

The biggest consequence of the idea "God created morals" is that morals did not exist before God created morals.

The implication is that God can suddenly change his mind on everything and make what is right wrong and make what is wrong right. If God created morals, then surely God can do this. After all, if this is the origin of morals, they are the just the say-so of God, and God can say anything He wants to. If this is the origin of morals, why can't he make it not immoral to boil human babies for fun?

If God did suddenly decide to change his mind like that, then what is the difference other than that God just suddenly changed his mind?

There are arguably worse consequences. For example, if God says fornication is a sin, and all fornicators must die, then I must begin my Good Works. (insert random serial killer from history)

Never read the old testament then? God allows allot of killing in it, lots and lots and lots (Sometimes he spared the virgin girls), even has a hand in it himself a few times..... Jesus did he love killing.
