What planet does this man live on? Does he think people should be more fecund to increase the Catholic population? Is he worried that the high birthrate religions (read that Muslim) threatens the once high birthrate Catholics? ---BBB
I read a while ago that the French government was taking positive steps to increase the population by 20 million so it must have something similar in view as The Pope has.
That those whose duty it is the man the bilge pumps don't know the reason is hardly a matter of consequence.
When Augustus attempted a similar policy for the Roman citizens it was a total failure.
