Believe it or not, these idiots may be right - for all the wrong reasons. It has been found that dams often abandon their newborns due to subclinical genetic defects. At least, that definitely seems to be the case in bitches. To my knowledge, no one has ever researched ursine traits. If this cub is to be used as a future stud in zoos, his genotype could be suspect. However, if he is simply to be a zoo critter, then these lunatics are only what they are.

I don't know that this cub should be a future mom or stud, but wonder about euthanizing.

Am concerned about the handy use of lunatics and sick-in-the-heads, as perjoratives.

It's possible cowdoc and I may agree somewhere along some discussion topics in the future. I'd rather not waste that possible interface with slammos.

naturally I'm against the killing of Polar Bears for any reason. Unless it's to prevent them from attending a Ted Nugent concert. That would be a mercy killing.

I think some of you may be missing the point. These freaks are assocating life, though it may not be the most natural life, with cruel and unusual punishment. You start buying into this argument and I sure hope you like tofu sauce with your tofu fried tofu.

I like tofu. Versatile. High in protein. cheap. so what?

I can make tofu taste like pork but you can't make a pig taste like tofu.

I bet you can.

I reckon if you boil pork a lot you could disguise it as tofu.

Speaking of chicken ... why does it reveal you as a lunatic when you euthanize a baby bear, but not when you kill hens, pigs and cows to feed him? None of you believes that Knut survives on Tofu, do you?

I think that's true, judging by the picture below. But don't be fooled: this monster is going to be the death of many chickens, not to mention fishes. Can't you just feel his evilness just by looking at him?

You're determined to crack poor Knut, aren't you?

Sadly for your case, he has those cute mammalian neonate features which just turn us to jelly, presumably due to some hard wired evolutionarily beneficial nurture program.

These
