Caves on Mars

I find this an intriguing idea. Nasa's Odyssey spacecraft orbits Mars and snaps shots of it's surface (using infrared to measure surface temperatures). They found formations that seem to be caves - 7 of them. Caves would offer a more moderate climate, protection from UV rays and solar flares as well as other events that could destroy any lifeform on the surface.

This kept buggin' me, so i went out and found the motion picture i saw in which Martian caves figured prominently. And that was a 60s potboiler, Robinson Crusoe on Mars. Worth a few laughs, if you can rent it really cheap, or get it free from the library.

CJ - no one on earth believes that global warming isn't due to natural cycles. Some of us believe that this time, the cycle may or may not be playing a part in an otherwise man made mess.

Now. Back to Mars.

That is certainly not quoting out of context by any definition. Nothing more than parroting.

Yes, parroting. A part of what was said.
If I say something like: "I don't mind people dying. I just don't like when the cause of their death is unnatural" and you quote me saying "I don't mind people dying" you will still be parroting, but sending a completely different message than I had in mind.

So parrot away, but don't expect to be taken seriously if this is how you want to play.

Outta here.

Mars. Yahoo news featured a story on water at the south pole. Ice, I mean. It looked like there was quite a bit of it.

I find it intriguing that they named the caverns after women. Is it some sort of male sexist notion to name the caves Dena, Chloe, Wendy, Annie, Abbey, Nicki and Jeanne? I've gone out with women with those names.
