A few years ago a juicy scandal broke out on the occasion of Washington's using NGOs of various states for the purpose of espionage or organizing so-called "orange revolutions". Everything's calmed down since then.
Maybe CIA agents have learned to work neatly and quietly. Though, they finally left themselves vulnerable. Slightly less than a month ago American security services loused up over again.
Sarah Wykes, a British citizen and a campaigner with Global Witness human rights organization, was jailed in Angola's oil-rich Cabinda enclave and accused of industrial espionage in favor of the US.
Well, I think it is time to get it that one must not trust NGOs, many of which are under the cover of American security services. Even Great Britain was not able to evade its nationals from collaborating with the US. Now what can we expect from less developed countries of Eastern Europe and Africa?
Truly, NGOs have probably become America's most powerful weapon that allowed Washington to achieve unbelievable results, including takeovers in Georgia, Ukraine and Yugoslavia.
