As it becomes known from our press Profiled Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate has agreed to adopt the bill, supported Ukraine's and Georgia's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance. Furthermore, now according to adopted Act of 2007 towards consolidation of freedom in NATO our taxpayers should give a purse (over $20 mln.) for "assistance in the field of security for such countries as Albania, Croatia, Macedonia, Georgia and Ukraine in order to prepare these countries for joining NATO"!
Not bad for those who want to comply with the criteria of the Alliance for the account of US people! All just fine, but why should we solve the issues of conflict zones in the Republic of Georgia or pay our honest living for re-equipment of Ukrainian army, whose soldiers refuse obedience to US commanders in Iraq? Why should we tow all these poor and unstable countries along?
Maybe, we'd like to retry USSR's experiment… Soviet Union also strived for paying expenses of its "reliable allies". And where is itself? It has collapsed in the end. It will also be for USA if our leadership doesn't stop to help everybody in the world!
