Hi,
My Nan recently got a Philips Universal 3 way remote control SRU 3030
I managed to get it working with the TV but not the DVD player which is Acoustic Solutions AS8099. The manual and Philips website only give these two codes - 0740, 0757 for DVD brand Acoustic Solutions
I also tried the remote control's automatic code search but everytime the two devices communicated, the buttons were mixed up eg. press pause and the dvd rewinds.
I'm wondering if there's a website that will give more codes or if there's any other way of getting it to work?

It's a problem -- you seemed to have tried everything and unfortunately, Philips is just a brand name. They don't manufacture anything. If you've tried to proceedure using those codes several times and the buttons don't correspond, it's most likely the DVD player. The only way to test that is try another universal remote.
