@izzythepush,
Well, in those days it was still black&white, with just one-and-a-half BBC program and Southern TV (ITV).

But even today: no goal is means no goal Wink

From this day forward, henceforth for the rest of the year, nothing will ever be the same again.
Manchester City play Manchester United in the lunch-time kickoff, and for the first time in four years, Rangers play Celtic in Glasgow.
Blood and snot will fly. There will be a spike in assaults and violent crime, not only in Glasgow. Probably in suicides too.
May the best teams win.

@McTag,
You'll be happy (at least just now) I suppose Wink

I'm not, together with hundredthousands others:
I used to watch Premier League on Sky - a couple of matches were broadcasted live every match day.
Until this season.
Obviously, Sk Germany paid too much for the first Bundeslige matches. The only Premiership ship we can watch is that of Liverpool ... as a review the following day or even later (they sponsor Klopp)

So I've subscribed now to an internet sport broadcaster (DAZN.com) and can watch all matches in even more leagues as well as many other sport events. Live.
But not today - their servers are down (obviously due to the immense traffic) (Which, however, got them in top of twitter hashtagsvv Wink )

@Walter Hinteler,
I'm not happy. We're playing Arsenal, and short of a miracle, we'll get thrashed.

@Walter Hinteler,
Super Blues, three away points. It'll be on MoTD tonight.

Rangers evidently are not up to speed yet for the Premier League. I hope the Glasgow Police are not too busy this evening. And the emergency wards.

Happy 358th birthday, tea!
On 23 September 1658, the London republican newspaper Mercurius Politicus carried the first advert for tea in the UK, announcing that a “China drink called by the Chinese, Tcha, by other Nations Tay alias Tee” was available in a coffee house in the city.

@izzythepush,
Cod may have regional accents, scientists say

Cornish fish moving north with climate change may struggle to understand Scouse counterparts, study says, making it harder for them to mate
Well, I already knew why the river Mersey runs through Liverpool ... Wink
