Have you noticed the size of John Humphreys' ears?

Remarkably large.

@Dutchy,
I was sweating on it raining. I had two bets. One on winning the ashes at 11 to 8 and one on 5--o at 33 to 1 for a trifling stake.

I don't think our lads cared for your lads attitude to the game. It is a principle of English gentlefolk that if somebody wants to win a very great deal one allows them to. Johnson's a prick.

Rogers was the man of the series for me.

@spendius,

Lots of concern in the British meeja about the police shooting Mark Duggan.

Now Mark Duggan was a villain, was known to the police, was wanted by the police, who on the day were in hot pursuit, and was carrying a gun. These facts seem to be established.

So my question is, what happened to "Stop or I fire"?

This is not the same as the case of Jean Charles de Menezes.

Okay, he was apparently trying to give himself up. He should have done that sooner. What a waste of public money.

@Romeo Fabulini,
Complete bullshit, huge amounts of people stuck in a tiny building under a gangmaster living in conditions no English person would put up with.

Immigrants aren't the problem, low pay is.

Every day the Brit papers are full of stories of hordes of Romanian and Bulgarian pickpocketing gangs, illegal immigrants and our creaking overwhelmed medical, housing and welfare systems.
Personally I find it amusing because most of the complaining Brits are the ones who voted for the useless Big Three parties who let them in in the first place!
Me, I vote UKIP who want to keep them out, so my conscience is quite clear..Smile

Well, I'm happy that all UKIP members are Brythons (Britons) and have nothing to do with "European" Saxons, Jutes, Angles or Northmen ...

And how do you know that she had been a Romanian Roma or Sinti and not a Romanian "Romanian" (more than 85% of the population), a Romanian Hungarian, a Romanian German ...?
