Respect to David Moyes and fighting Everton.

Utd could still win next Monday, but I hope they don't. The bookies must have it pretty even.

Happy Saint Georges Day.

When are the powers that be going to relent and give you a bank holiday like the rest of us.

I hope that they can find a judge who didn't go to Oxford or Cambridge at the Crown Court at Isleworth, where Trenton Oldfield ("the boat race man") will get his trial now. Wink

@Walter Hinteler,
What did Mr Oldfield do that was illegal?

@spendius,
Someone has obviously had another look at the charge he faced (Section5 Public Order Act) and decided that a fine-only offence wouldn't fit the bill.

@Walter Hinteler,
It might be Walt that because the charge relates to a matter of national interest it might be better to take it to a higher court because the fees there are sufficient to keep the jollies going.

When an interested party "takes another look" at such a matter I feel pretty confident that the fees will be being borne in mind.

@spendius,
Did any of you see the Titanic Girl festival in Liverpool?

It is sure to be on U Tube.

Absolutely wonderful.

@spendius,
I didn't, I'm getting a bit fed up with the whole Titanic mullarky to tell you the truth. Southampton seems to be the epicentre of it all right now.

@izzythepush,
It's a show izzy. The genesis of it would be interesting to speculate upon. It has happened and on the cause and effect principle there must have been a cause of it happening. I assume an intelligent one.

Public interest, cost of promotion, projected income, events, legal advice, interviews, archive images etc.

And who is in charge of what. A Leverson type conundrum.

It wasn't bad as public entertainment goes. It made a change. A lot of people must have enjoyed it or been educated a little by it. If only as to how women should properly dress if they wish to be respected. As I feel sure they do.

You must be a bit of a miserable sod to be grumbling about it.

Liverpool murdered Southampton in the Chutzpah Stakes. As they will at Anfield and Goodison next season.

I hope the expert puppeteers are working on a Can-Can troupe.

@spendius,
Your local paper hasn't devoted six pages every day for the past two months to the Titanic, nor has half of your local news been taken up by it for the past fortnight. If it had you might not feel the same.

I'm not at all miserable, I'm actually quite jolly. I can frolic with the best of them.

Really wasn't bad, but I wonder what team will play in Munich versus Real.

@izzythepush,
You have to admire ten guys playing like that whoever you support.

And I support the Murdochs too. What they have done for Sport is phenomenal and I think Sport is a great force for good in the world.

Mr Jay QC, and his two juniors, are wonderful. And 'is 'onour is pretty droll as well.

Leveson is where it's at. I told you months ago.

Live on the Red Button if you will excuse such an expression.

@spendius,
Wouldn't it have been amusing if Rupert Murdoch had followed the Judge into his chambers when the court adjourned.

One short adjournment took place suddenly and at a surprising time. It struck me that it must have been due to a weak bladder in one of the principles.

@Walter Hinteler,
I'm just happy that what was touted as a possible Real/Barco clash has ended up with the two underdogs facing each other. I think it should be a good match.

Come on, you Blues.
All eyes on the Etihad Stadium this evening. I heard RM was going to play Ballotelli. I wouldn't risk it.

Another 6-1 to City would do me. With Rooney sent off, of course.
