Is there anywhere I can get a bet on that you pass Queenie?

Quote:
I didn't exactly get your argument as to why it would be a bad thing.

Because our traditions say it would. And you dismissed our traditions with a sweet wave of your hand and that's a really bad thing.

Well obvs I will pass. And I don't mean that to sound like arrogance, i just mean; it isn't to hard to pass.

Gee, spends, you make it sound like traditions are always placed there for really cogent reasons.

@The Pentacle Queen,
Oh--they are Queenie. You needn't worry about that.

Anything that isn't too hard to pass isn't worth a wank. And what are they worth?

What a brilliant expression. Who knows what they are worth? A few minutes.

@The Pentacle Queen,
Dont forget the stress relief, the beneficial chemical release accompanying orgasm, the increased ability to sleep....

@Ionus,
What about the quality of the sleep Io. It is fairly well known that the eschewing of orgasm leads to qualities of sleep which are extremely enjoyable. One has such a wide range of choice.

It has been said that this manifestation of the brain is so wonderful that it justifies the practice of celibacy. The period of eschewal gets longer as one ages.

If you recall, I mentioned Doreen awaking from a sleep after she had escaped from Cell Block H and a long period without the company of men. Whoever wrote her part in that scene knew what I am talking about here.

It is a sure way of scientifically determining one's sexual orientation without any shreds of that doubt silly old Freud tried to sow in our minds.

That deduction is out of thin air. I can quote the passage in de Sade and I have my own experience and that of others to go by. And the scene in Cell Block H.

That's highly likely. But in what respect do you mean in relation to the matter under consideration? I've laid out my position.

What passage do you mean which undermines the principle of the famous one that I referred to. I'm not a libertine.

@spendius,
Could you be more precise and quote the passage?

I've been reading 4th and 5th parts and couldn't find what you alluded to.

On the other hand, the text is scattered with "rest" related words, obviously after physical accomplishments..

@Francis,
It doesn't look like there's any point Francis. I know how obtuse you can be before you'll concede a point.

The effect works with food and drink and with soft beds. It's the whole point of askesis. TV adverts use it too. I mentioned the scene in Prisoner in Cell Block H and my own experience. I'm not getting hung up on Juliette IV 68-70 not being precise enough.

@spendius,
It's not a matter of conceding a point..

I don't care the least about that..

What!!?? About wet dreams? There's nothing to it. A bit of self discpline. It was all in the first post on the matter. Since then the exchanges have been about your response disputing with that post and you haven't offered anything of substance to do so except disputing it in more and more futile ways. Frank Harris wrote about it at some length.

It is why stupidity and virility are often connected in movies. Ernest Borgnine say. Frankenstein's monster being as over the top as its author was in real life. That even lacked animal cunning.
