And I'm on Mr McCain at 6-1. Plus a winger on Al Gore at 40-1.

What we want Mathos is some before the event talk like I did for the Champion Hurdle, the Gold Cup and the Grand National. Katchit (10-1), Denman (9-4 second fav) and Comply or Die (7-1 jt.fav) No other selections offered.

Any dipstick can talk after the event. What use is that to man or beast?

You mean like you with ALL your silly quotes from others?

Have you never thought of being original?

Certainly ManU was better.

I didn't see the match, but the report on the BBC website does not give that impression.

Quote: "Fergies Wallets flattered to deceive yet again, as unlucky Arsenal had eventually and cruelly to leave Old Trafford without the points they so richly deserved by dint of their superior approach to this game."

We watched it.

Arsenal had their chances, but ManU just was .... one goal better

I think you German folks are about as blinkered and biased as Steve and Mathos.

No offence.

Hargreaves free kick goal was sublime. I've never seen a first class goal keeper so completely flummoxed.

Sorry Walter

It was a fascinating match, couldnt take my eyes off it for a second. I was sure Arsenal would equalise, but then they ran out of gas.

And Ronaldo's penalty should be two goals. he ran up stopped and scored...no goal because he stopped. So he took it again ran up stopped and scored...goal! So if that was a goal so was the first.

and Arsenal's goal wasnt...it was hand ball. So there is justice.

It was like pinball. It could have been 4-0 to either side with a slight change in the bounce of the ball.

Sometimes Spendy puts his finger right on it, like a shaft of sunlight on a cloudy day.

I've seen it now. United did not play well.
Arsenal had about six reasonable chances to score in the first half alone, should have gone in about 2-0 or 3-0 at half time.
Adebayor thought Van de Saar was going to clatter him, that's why his hands were raised for the goal, but I think it went in off his head.
Gallas was trying to get his arm out of the way, unlucky for the penalty.
The free kick given for Hargreaves to score was not a foul at all, just an unfortunate collision but Tevez went down as if he had been sandbagged.
But a bad place to make a clumsy challenge.

All in all, unlucky Arsenal.

Of course I'm capable of giving an objective even handed account of a football match.

But I dont. I put on my ManU hat scarf red tinted specs and holler and shout. I dont see things objectively because I dont want to, I see them from ManU's viewpoint. Whats wrong with that? On what other occasions in life can you express naked bias? Its all part of the fun.

And did you hear Arsene Whinger on Radio 4 this morning? He hinted there was a conspiracy against Arsenal and when the reporter asked what he meant he said "I'm not going to comment on eet" and "you can work eeet out for yourself". Smile

I too think there is a conspiracy against Arsenal. It will be to do with money. Which means women basically.

The refs are obviously the hatchet.

Look Steve- I dare you to test your faith and worship of your team.

When the Champion's League semi is played have a £200 bet on your team's opponents.

Or some amount which will hurt all week if Man U win the tie. Test your love.

I backed Arsenal to knock Liverpool out and if that wasn't fixed I'm the Flying Dutchman. They murdered them and got beat.

love faith and worship doesnt come into it when there's money involved. If I can find some mug who will offer the right odds, I'll place money. Offer me odds of 2/1 on Barcelona to go on to the final and I might bet.

But as I can get odds on Utd from BetSky of 4/6, that gives me 7% profit no matter who wins.

If I staked £1000 on the game, £643 on Utd at 4/6 and £357 on Barca at 2/1 I walk away with £71 profit at the end of the semifinal.

Unfortunately bookies aren't mugs.

not so good to be honest. Overdid it yesterday for various reasons....and didnt sleep too well, now trying to get my head round betting odds with Spendy and getting a little fractious. Or should that be fractions?

But thanks for asking

Oh Stevie .... hun....

That's no good Shocked

K - need to think of some positives...

so

how did you overdo yesterday? Was it a "good" over do where you had fun and enjoyed yourself - in which case, then being "overdone" today serves to remind you that yesterday was a great day - so that's good. Right? Confused

Entirely my own fault. Overdid cycling and apres-bike refreshment. But hey was I tired last night! So why only 4 hours sleep? But it was a good day really.
