(I only by traditional religious reasons, Mrs W, because she thinks to know a lot about football.)
And Mrs W clearly has a depth of knowledge and understanding of the game that mere mortals like McTag and Spendius can only aspire to.

(bloody terrible result againts boro Sad)

Well of course you are right. Nil Desperandum. Allez les noir et blanch deman. (pardonez moi le Francais, je ne comprends pas)

All is not lost. Utd still have an excellent chance of winning the treble.

I think they are wobbling. It means so much to them that nerves are coming to have a bearing on matters. Chelsea are a professional outfit. They don't know what nerves are.

We will see. Newcastle is never easy.

Walter was right, I saw it on MoTD. It was a penalty all righty, the referee bottled it.
Sympathies to Mr Southgate and his doughty team. That would have been a nice feather in their caps, beating Fergie's Wallets in such an important game at Old Trafford. Cheated.

I just thought, I'm not qualified or entitled to speak for others, so I pulled the post on second thoughts. Fruitlessly as it happened, since you just repeated it. Rolling Eyes

No doubt all will become clearer later. Or not, as the case may be.

There is some brilliant football being played in The Premiership of late, (it always has been good) hard to differentiate between the top and the bottom at times, hence we have a season and the better clubs over the period show.

The race for the title is not over yet, I obviously hope Man U win it, they deserve to. The present injury problems are a blow at this stage of the season with so much to win, the true metal of the club will be shown though, of that I have no doubt.

From a pumping station managed by Thames Water, note.

Makes me smile, that kind of press release: "Engineers have been working round the clock...." to mitigate the effects of their company's mismanagement or massive blunder.

It is the least, the very least that they SHOULD do.

Ta Mac, I could have said that was for Spendi, now you have spoiled it.

But that would be telling porkies.

Do I have to do contrition?
