Faith is itself not sufficent to make something true. Something may not be true even if one has faith that it is true. This is because faiths have the possibility of being false.
Also, "because I said so" is itself not sufficent to make something true. Something may not be true even if that person or thing said "because I said so." This is because things which say "because I said so" have the possibility of being false.
Examples:
I have faith that "2+2=5" is true.
Two plus 2 equals five because I said so.
Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.
Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.
Faith does not claim to make anything truth. Faith is a confident belief.

I understand your frustration at not being able to plumb the depths of this post and reach enlightenment through it Gus. It gives someone a small feeling, as though we could be merely an atom on someones shirt sleeve.
PM me and we'll discuss it in terms more easily understood.

Are there beliefs that are not confident?

This thread is showing depths of theological debate that, frankly, I had not expected.

I do not see how that is the case. Faiths are themselves truth claims, "I have faith that p is true," or something of the like.
What I am saying is that confident beliefs are not necessarily true just because they are confident beliefs, and they have the possibility of being false.

A post has just been erased. Looks like this thread's author doesn't have faith in further enlightenment..
Gus, can you add some sensitive comment that could enlighten us?
