I am going to be straightforward here. This is hurtful and nasty. Two members publically disparaging me, (and other members) on a thread that has been good natured for years.

Yes, I push on people in threads. I express my opinions I do not bring my personal issues from one thread to a completely different thread. This is nothing less than nastiness. I did nothing to provke this behavior from Mame and Glitterbag on this thread.

My initial reaction is to respond in kind (which I won't). But I want people to remember that we are human beings. Whatever you think about my opinions, that includes me (and whoevers name you tried to spell backwards).

I will leave this nastiness here. But Ifelt I had to say something. This thread should be a fun lighthearted look at the vaiety of people we have here. It shouldn't be a nasty place to air grievances.

Let's keep this thread a good natured community thread.

I kind of agree with you - I have tried to give more a positive spin to anyone of which A2K-er am I - maybe with a little humor (without trying to offend)

So I will try another:

A big part of my job here is to inform posters that they are answering threads that are 5 or 6 years old. The other part is to calm people down with subtle humor often times. My responses tend to be short simple and without any malaise. I recognize the positives in what others contribute. My only adversary is cucumbers. I figure I am too old to fight even with words.

It's a she, and I didn't know Sturgis was German.

Sturgis is female? That surprises me. Not that it matters.

Sturgis is a man and he's not German. Born and raised in New York City. He hasn't posted since January 31st and I'm getting very worried about him.
