9th of July or 18th of Tir in the Persian calendar is the fourth anniversary of the first major student uprisings in Tehran. (9th July, 1999)

There is an uncertainty to this date, if there will be any large uprisings, because the regime has conducted numerous arrests and some say 5,000 students have been jailed.

But in the rest of the world, 9th of July will be marked by exil-Iranians with demonstrations against the murderous regime in Tehran.

Everyone, please sign this online Petition/Appeal to the UN ASAP on behalf of protestors in Iran.

They've started mass arrests of students, (also there are reports of the arrests of entire families including children!) and many other horrible things, please act now, everything helps. Lets get thousands of signatures for this petition to the UN right Now!

Email friends and post this online petition to as many different sites as you can. You can select the 'private' option if you don't want anyone to see your name.
