This is the black stump beyond which I live willywagtail.
When you have posted a certain number of queries/answers you will graduate to a different name from "Newbie". I recall the following names, enthusiast, near enthusiast, seasoned member, veteran member (10.000 posts) and on reaching 25.000 posts one becomes a Guru in training.
Like you I do not do the other puzzles once I've completed the competion ones. I pass the books over to my wife who likes doing them.
