Hi Dutchy,
I've had OneLook bookmarked for quite a while now but hardly ever use it, unless directed there sometimes by OneAcross. OneLook doesn't seem to be able to let you tell it when the same letter occurs in a word - THE best feature by far of 'WordFind'.
Another very major benefit of WF is that it's a program and not a website, which means I don't have to connect to the Internet to use it. A very good thing for a dial-up user.
I only wish there was a not TOO expensive hand-held word search device that could take note of repeated letters in a word, although the Franklin unit I bought from Lovatts continues to be a great help - especially with anagrams
I guess everyone has their own favourite sites and the four I use the most when doing my Lovatts are: Able2Know, Google, OneAcross and Dictionary/Thesaurus.com. I've since added the Reverse Dictionary to my bookmarks but haven't used it yet. It looks as if it may be better than OneAcross which, when it IS working, seems to alternate between being a great help and being useless
