It is great to see something so simple and practical to be given to people. Saving thousands of lives is so much better than making war. It must be a fine feeling for young Canadians to see first-hand the results of their work.

Every year, Samaritan's Purse - Canada, with support from the Canadian
International Development Agency, equips and sends young Canadians to developing countries to implement BioSand water filter projects in communities with little or no access to safe drinking water. Our teams and local partners have installed more than 65,000 filters in homes, communities, schools and clinics around the world.
